After that to put granite floor tiles, lay the chalk lines for reference. Determine the middle of the length of the floor and the center of the width of the floor. Make a mark on each side of length and width and snap a chalk line across the floor. The two lines intersect in the middle of the floor, where you will begin to lay granite tiles. Spread thinset using 6 mm (1/4 inch) notched trowel. Make sure you start in the middle of the floor where stresses intersect. Remove 1 cm (3/8 inch) spacers and grout joints.
